Set against a vast, unique and unforgiving landscape, Gold is a taut thriller about greed and the lengths people go to to secure themselves a fortune. Two hobos travel across the desert and accidentally find the largest lump of gold ever found. Because of this, the dream of wealth and greed takes root. Together they devise a plan to protect and excavate their find. One man will go back to civilization to get the necessary materials. The other man is left behind in the desert, where he has to survive on a meager food ration in the scorching heat. Will he survive the battle with the elements, his psyche and the food supply?
