In the romantic comedy Hart op de Juiste Plek, we see how the young and successful Eve (Stijn Fransen) has a job as a freelance trendwatcher and lives with her handsome boyfriend Ricardo (Jasper Demollin) in the big city. When she finds out that Ricardo is cheating with his boss Anthea (Tanja Jess), she shows him the door. There's one problem, though: it's his house, so Eve is out on the street. She moves in temporarily with her best friend Rebecca (Fenna Ramos), but in the small studio they barely have any privacy. She fanatically searches for a place of her own, but unfortunately it soon becomes apparent that housing in and around the city is unaffordable. She is forced to temporarily return to her childhood home in the village of Zeilne to move in with her mother Kristien (Irene Moors). It is the beginning of a trip down memory lane with old friends, her childhood sweetheart Luuk (Jan Versteegh) and a family feud that after years is still going around in the village. When she is offered a permanent job with a penthouse in the city and Ricardo begs her to come back, she has to choose: where is her heart really?
