The ancient, mysterious Ukrainian forests are home to wondrous creatures who faithfully guard their sacred realm. One of them is the young girl Mavka, Guardian of the Forest. Her main task is to keep their greatest enemy, humans, out of the Forest. But can she still accomplish this task when she falls in love with the young villager Lucas and while the greedy Kylina is out to get the Heart of the Forest?
