Piggy, in cinemas on 1 December

‘Piggy’, the feature film debut of Spanish director Carlota Pereda, saw its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and immediately received a lot of praise. The Guardian described its dark humor as “deliciously entertaining” and Rolling Stone applauded Pereda for the way she showed the cruel side of bullying. The film won a Golden Méliès for Best Feature Film and was featured as a special screening out of competition at Imagine Film Festival. ‘Piggy’ will be in Dutch cinemas from 1 December.
